CANDIDATES FOR INTERNATIONAL OFFICE- 2025-2026 Candidates will be uploaded on May 1st.
The Junior Civitan International Board consists of 1 President, 1 Vice President and 1* at-large Director. The below Junior Civitans have declared their intent to run for a position on the 2025-2026 International Board. The International Board will be advised by an Advisory Committee that will be comprised by a director from each Junior Civitan region, one representative from the Junior Civitan clubs in Canada, and one representative from the Junior Civitan at-large clubs outside of North America.
*If the By-law change passes in voting the Board for 2025-2026 will be re-expanded to 5 members again to offer more leadership opportunities for Junior Civitans! There will be 1 President, 1 Vice President, and 3 Directors. Tune into Convention to see the new leadership!
Baxter Heilig | Candidate for President
Baxter R. Heilig of Salisbury Academy Junior Club in Region 3 is an upcoming senior running for International President. Baxter is currently serving on the 2024-25 Junior Civitan International Board as the International Director. Baxter joined in 2023 and was Sergeant-at-Arms and honored with the “Future President” Award at the 2024 All-In Summit. Baxter has a plan to focus on empowerment, communication and fellowship for all levels of Junior Leadership to grow and strengthen the program.
Hayden Johnson| Candidate for President
Hayden Johnson of Pocatello High School Junior Civitan Club in Region 8 is an upcoming senior running for International President. Hayden joined in 2022 and has held many positions in Junior Civitan, including 2023-2024 Region 8 Director, Region 8 Fundraiser and Membership Communications officer, and current club president. She has also been honored with a Distinguished Service Award for Region 8 Director in 2023-2024, Distinguished Service Award for Region 8 Meetings and Conventions Officer in 2024-2025, the Regional Honor Key awarded in 2024 and 2025.
Serenity Long | Candidate for President
Serenity Janya Long of Metropolitan Junior Civitan Club in Region 2 is an upcoming junior running for International President. Serenity joined in 2023 and has been her club’s Vice President and is their current President.
Diyora Rasulova | Candidate for Vice President
Diyora Rasulova of Sandalwood High School Junior Civitan Club in Region 2 is an upcoming senior running for International Vice President. Diyora joined in 2022 and has been the Club treasurer and was awarded the All in Summit award of “Ms. Activist”. As the international vice president of this organization, I would like to work towards putting all my effort into service projects and enhancing club engagement.
Wyenzdea Gutierrez | Candidate for Director
Wyenzdea Gutierrez of Sandalwood High School Junior Civitan Club in Region 2 is running for International Director. Wyenzdea joined in 2023 and is her club’s current vice president. She is passionate about increasing representation, partnership, communication, and future leadership to make an impactful change.
