What We Do

While all service projects are all student-organized, Junior Civitan recommends projects that focus in four different areas: Environmental Awareness, Collection Selection, Social Causes, and Member Recruitment. 

Just like Civitan, Junior Civitan has a special focus on helping people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. This is most visible through the Civitan International Research Center (CIRC)  a world-class research and clinical care facility focused on intellectual and developmental disabilities and brain disorders. 

While our international focus lies with the CIRC, our hundreds of clubs across the globe benefit thousands of different organizations that do good work in their communities. Their selfless service and advocacy for causes they are passionate about makes each club individually unique, but they are all committed to making the world a better place.
