2024 ALL IN SUMMIT

February 23-26, 2024

Alabama 4H Center | Birmingham, Alabama

The 5th Annual All In Summit will take place primarily at the Alabama 4H Center, just outside of Birmingham, Alabama. Participants and chaperones will have dorm-style accommodations and the majority of the weekend’s events will take place on site at the center. The event will consist of a keynote speaker, leadership workshops, a service project, visit to the Civitan International Research Center, team building activities, free time, and more!

To attend the event, all participants must raise a minimum amount of money for the event’s beneficiary, the Civitan International Research Center. Through the registration process, each participant will set up a personal online fundraising page and can begin their fundraising efforts! Information regarding the event’s fundraising structure and additional fundraising resources are provided below.

Fundraising Structure

General Information

  • All Junior Civitans are encouraged to attend, regardless of what office (if any) you hold!
  • It is MANDATORY for International Board Members and District Directors to attend but at any level based on their fundraising.
  • NEW THIS YEAR: Solicitation of donations from Civitan members is reserved for District Directors and International Board members until November 30. Starting December 1, any participant will be able to solicit a Civitan member for donations.
  • NEW THIS YEAR: Civitan club, Junior Civitan club, and/or Region/District donations go in as event sponsorships and are not tied to a participant’s individual fundraising total.
    • These event sponsorships are designed to help us cover the direct costs of the event and will help us increase attendance.
    • District Directors, International Board Members, and ad hoc committee members will reach out to clubs to solicit the club’s sponsorship.
    • Note: These are referring to donations from the club or region/district itself. This does NOT refer to an individual Civitan member’s donation.
    • Example: Volunteer ACTION Civitan Club’s contribution will be considered an event sponsorship, but club member Kendyl’s personal donation will go towards the All In Summit participant of her choice’s individual fundraising efforts.
    • If a Civitan Club or Junior Civitan Club assists students through the facilitating of a fundraiser, the funds raised can be used towards that student’s individual fundraising efforts. However, a donation directly from that Civitan or Junior Civitan Club’s account cannot count towards the fundraiser but rather is to be given to the event as sponsorship.

    • Example: Volunteer ACTION Civitan Club helps a Junior Civitan organize and facilitate a raffle in the community to assist that Junior Civitan’s individual fundraising efforts. Money raised at the raffle is given from individual members, family, friends, and other members of the community. The Volunteer ACTION Civitan Club CANNOT make a gift from their club’s account towards this fundraiser but rather, can contribute to the All In Summit as an event sponsor.

    • Civitan clubs can learn more about the event and how their club donations can support the event by watching this informational video.
